Biography

Wu Kaiquan is a renowned rhinoplasty surgeon in Chengdu. He has been engaged in clinical plastic surgery for more than 30 years and has extensive clinical experience. He has high attainments in implant rhinoplasty, comprehensive rhinoplasty, highly difficult rhinoplasty, and revision surgery for failed rhinoplasty. He has successfully created more than 10,000 rhinoplasty cases and enjoys the reputation of “Father of Total Nasal Plastic Surgery”.

Wu Kaiquan is one of the earlier physicians in China to obtain certification as a plastic and aesthetic physician. He received further training in the Department of Burns and Plastic Surgery at Shanghai Ruijin Hospital and at the Medical Aesthetics Training Base of Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital. He has a solid professional foundation and has successively served as technical director in several large plastic and aesthetic chain institutions. He is experienced and known professionally for rigorous operation, refined techniques, and short operation time.

Drawing on more than 30 years of practical experience and a large number of clinical cases, Wu Kaiquan has developed a unique set of refined nasal plastic surgery techniques——the Angel Natural Upturned Nose (costal cartilage rhinoplasty).
